Hi, I'm Lucinda, founder and owner of Lucinda's Pet Care, a friendly, professional, reliable dog walking, pet sitting, and pet care service covering Richmond, Catterick, and surrounding villages in North Yorkshire.
I have 15 years of experience working within veterinary and animal rehabilitation and rehoming settings in nursing, supervision, and management roles, so rest assured that your beloved pet will always be in safe, capable hands.
I have owned animals most of my life, including guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs, and horses.
Services
Free Meet and greet
Prior to booking I offer a 30 minute free meet and greet service for you to get to know me and ask any questions and most importantly for me to get to know your pet.
Dog Walking
I offer daily walking in a variety of surroundings, including woodland, river and secure field settings.
All walks are personally tailored to meet your dogs needs, either group or individual. Walks can be on or off the lead and last for 1 hour.
I collect your dog and on return ensure they are clean, fed and watered as you require.
Group Walks (Maximum 3 dogs) Weekdays - £14 per hour. £8 for each additional dog from the same household.
Solo Walks Weekdays - £18 per hour. £8 for an additional dog from the same household.
In home pet sitting
This is a much less stressful experience for you and your pet when you go on holiday.
This service enables your precious pet to remain in their home environment surrounded by their favourite things.
It is especially useful if you have anxious or elderly pets that are not happy in boarding establishments.
This service is offered for any species.
Price available on request, subject to requirements.
A non-refundable deposit of 50 percent of the final bill is required at the time of booking to secure the dates.
puppy visits
Puppies require lots of stimulation and I'm sure you'll agree that it's so important for the long-term health and happiness of a dog.
Visits are personally tailored to your puppy’s needs, lasting 30 minutes. I recommend two visits daily.
This includes playing in your garden or a short lead walk followed by play time, command training, feeding and clean water.
I can send you updates for your peace of mind on request.
£15 per half hour.
small animal visits
offer an in home pet care service for all sorts of animals to minimise stress due to change of surroundings for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, birds, reptiles and many more.
Visits are 20-30 minutes long and include cuddles, cleaning, feeding and fresh water.
Exotics
Working within an exotic vets and rehoming exotic species over the years. I have a wealth of knowledge and the ability to care for exotic animals.
£14 per visit on weekdays. £16 per visit on weekends
Cat Visits
Cats are territorial and love to be in and around their own homes. I offer a cat visiting service as an alternative to putting your cat into a cattery.
I can visit once or twice a day. Each 30 minute visit will be tailored to your cats specific needs and include play time with their favourite toys and cuddles.
I will check and clean the litter tray as required, clean food bowls and ensure they have food and fresh water.
£14 per visit on weekdays. £16 per visit weekends.
wedding pet chaperone service
The pet chaperone service is a bespoke service tailored to your big day.
I will care for your dog on the wedding day attending to their needs throughout.
This can be followed by in home pet sitting if required.
